Join special guest Ashley Witherspoon, founder & CEO of Hand Made Dreams, for an interactive workshop as we explore how the implementation of values can help shape your professional museum career journey. Museum professionals will be able to build upon their current skill set when faced with challenges or adversity.
Ashley's journey into wellness began at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University as a criminal justice major. She obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with individuals who endured various mental health challenges within local, state, and federal programming. In 2019, Ashley launched Hand Made Dreams, a mental health platform dedicated to bringing mental health awareness to everyday spaces. She serves on the Delegate Assembly for the National Association of Social Workers-North Carolina and the Content Advisory Committee for the American Alliance of Museums.
